Listen
Today I made a mistake. During a conversation with a friend, I said something that indicated I wasn't fully listening. Actually, I wanted to recall what he said, but I didn't cover the whole point completely. I looked bad. Thing's getting worse when he said something like, "Very disappointing".
Well, I could say something to protect my ego, something like, "Who are you, you are not "someone" yet? Who gives you a right to give me a pep talk!" I could go that way, however, I decided to move the other way. I apologized. Not in person, but by text. I texted him, say I'm sorry.
Things to remember, Jordi: Please later, make sure you understand what other people say fully before you actually open your mouth. The art of listening, isn't merely just about body language, but more about how you comprehend what already being said.
