Trip to Jakarta | Yes Man Project Day 7

Today was good. As I said before, I went to Jakarta for a job interview. At first, I was planning to go with train. But as the day came in, I decided to use my own scooter, instead. Which is actually a wrong choice (I'll tell you later).

On the way, I knew I would be late, so I told her, I can't make it on time. She understood. However, thing getting worse when I almost arrived at my destination. I kept taking the wrong path. I just knew that in Jakarta, If you take a wrong path, it takes you half of your life to find a turnover. That's what happened. I kept running to the same trap, over and over. I almost gave up, and planned to go home. But I decided, whatever it was, the most important thing was getting there, no matter how late it would be.

Long story short, I arrived there. At 11 am, and the interview was at 10 am. I no longer cared whether they want to kick me out here or what. The point was I arrived here, safely and alive.

To be honest, she was pretty chill about it. She didn't really care. Maybe this was the work cultural here, or what. During interview too, I didn't feel it I was being interviewed. It's almost felt like two people talk to each other about public transportation and stuff. She came from the same place as I am, so she suggested some public transportation for me. How funny! #lol.

Since the very beginning I didn't really expect much from this interview, so I didn't really mind with whatever the outcome. Although, I learned a lot from this interaction. Thank god I was saying yes!
