Work life balance equals happiness

Back then, I used to think that work in a place that you are passionate about is a true happiness. Just like Sherlock Holmes. He could choose the cases that sparks his interest. I'm always envy him a lot. In my opinion, living like Sherlock, is my dream.

But living like this is actually a disaster. Especially if you haven't reached that level yet. Everyday your job would be filled with a lot of complains and hoping that one day you could live your dream job. In short, you are living a Squidward's life.

On the other hand, I watched and heard from podcast, YouTube or anything, that anyone who has reached that level still remained unhappy. That guy was lucky enough to had a job that he passionate about and live up everyday on it. But, the job is a job. We call it a job with a reason. In every jobs, they share the same common things: target and pressure. That's why, when someone found their passion, and make it into their daily job, that passion add up some target and pressure. Hence, it makes sense they're unhappy.

Having a passion job is not for everyone!

Here, in Bali, I realized one thing. I don't need a passion job. All I need is actually just work life balance. In Bali I could balance my work and my life. I still have time for work, but at the same time, I also have time for my passion, my hobby.
