Why now I don't care so much about my look
I used to be someone who's obsessed in look good and always put on something trendy and stylish
But for now, I give that dream up already.
Why?
So many reasons, actually. One, because buying new things constantly required money and I can't afford it. It feels much better if I put the money on other things instead. Second, trying to always look trendy required time and effort. Which again, I don't want to put it, anyway. Third, buying more stuff means we less care about our environment. How many stuff that we were buying then now ended up become a trash or unnecessary items? Too many, right? Yeah I know we can't stop this cycle. The only thing we can, is to reduce the amount by buying less.
For now, I only intend to look simple, but still don't have the vibes of a homeless person. Look tidy, clean and odorless is my goal in fashion. Whatever I wear, as long as it can fill those three, it's enough. Means, I don't mind wearing T-shirt and short pants anywhere if it's suitable with the situation.
What about other people opinion? They will judge your look!
They will, so will we. Remember how many times you meet strangers, you judge by their look and after knowing them a bit deeper, those assumptions are nothing but just assumptions. We judge people by their look but most of those judgments are false.
Don't judge me wrong. I think it's still important to look good, but good could simply tidy, clean and odorless (this is the basic foundation of fashion).
The other thing is people don't care much about you and your look. So, it's better to stop trying to impress other.
Put on something comfy and looks good (remember the rule above), that's enough.
