I Think Night Club isn't My Thing

Some days ago I went to a night club at Canggu Beach. At first, I wasn't having any intention to go to that place. We were just planning to go to that beach, enjoying night, and go home. But thing changed when my friend randomly asked a guy who wass sitting next to us. 'He seemed alone, so I asked him' he said.

We didn't know who this guy is, untill he told us that he have been here for more than a year. So, he told us many unnoticeable things about foreigner and their lifestyles here. I was so much interested when he said that most foreigners here at this time (almost midnight) are broke. Even, as broke as they are, they could have sex here in front of the beach. When first time I heard it, I was shocked. And tried to prove it myself. We were staying untill midnight, but we didn't find any of them there.

What the point of watching someone having sex, anyway?! Haha.

After midnight, some foreigners coming out to the beach and having dance. Near us was a night club. We were watching them. Then an idea popped up, I don't know who started it first, "Why don't we come in and join them?" Since I'd never been to any club, I said "Let's go!". We paid 100k rupiah and get a free drink.

At first, we were awkward. Or should I say, me and my friend were awkward. As for the guy who later we knew that his name is Zainal, he had so much fun. I observed people here are shameless. None of them are shy. They kiss and dance stupidly. Careless about what other might think. So, I tried to loosen up a bit. And dance. I did, so did my friend. we were having fun and dance with some foreigners there, enjoying night.

However, as fun as I would be there. Now I could say, that place isn't my place. Feels so weird being in there. I hope that was my first and my last go to any clubs. I hope I will never ever go to those kind of places again.
