Purchase with Purchase

Today, I did shop with my friend. We bought so many items for souvenir as we back to our home town later. I bought a little, while my friend bought a tons. No offense to him, but this is my style of shopping. Always shopping with budget. I knew I had limited amount of money, so kept it to something simple and what I need the most.

However, thing got changed once we reach the cashier. We decided to put together our shops, so we could split later. And with that huge items of him, we got a purchase with purchase promotion (You could buy items with special price after reaching certain amount of shopping). I'm a cashier, so I knew very well how this marketing works. But still fell into the same trap. Shame on me!

I don't need that cake, why did I buy it at the first place. Now I regret it a bit. Besides, I'm also trying to reduce my sugar consummation. What the hell could I do about it?
