You Don't Need a Specific Technique
Yesterday I wrote down about how to have a conversation with anyone (especially someone new or stranger). But after I tried that experiment, I figured out that I don't need that technique so much. The conversation went smoothly even without that. All I need is to get to know myself deeply.
To start a conversation is simply just to say 'hi'. What makes it hard is if the person who's supposed to say 'hi' has some issue within. And that's my problem.
In Bali I knew that it's hard for me to start a conversation with a foreigner. I thought it's because they are foreigners, so I'm terrified. Back from Bali, I still have the same issue, even when I need to talk to someone local. So the issue isn't about foreigner but people in general. I have an anxiety to talk to someone new or stranger. That's the thing I need to figure out why. That one thing is more important than thousand of techniques in this universe.
