Don't Read Many Books

For a couple of days, I've read quite many books, with different genres and topics. Now I think, that was a mistake. I should've read many books. I'll tell you why soon.

I believe, a book is like a person. When you read a book, you also read the person who has written that book. In simple term, if I read How to Win Friends and Influence Other, that means I also hangout with Dale Carnegie. That's how great such a book.

But why did I tell you to not read many books? Because, once you read many books, that means you also hangout with many people, with different perspective and mindset of life.

Now you might asked, isn't that a good thing? That is. But in my case, I read many books with almost no interval between them. I didn't give my brain time to digest the information. Once I finished with a book, I read another and another. I think that's where the mistake stand on. It's better for me to read a book, implement it, reread it, and try again. By doing that, I give myself time to understand pov of the writer and myself. Not all the informations are match with me. Same as person, not all the person could be your friend, right? Haven't I told you, a book is also a person? We need time to get to know the person behind the book, before we decide to be friends with him.

Read one book at a time, and give that book a chance to be your friend!
