Superman
A week ago, I watched a new Superman movie. This Superman was different from the previous movie. In this movie, Superman is portrayed as a nice guy, really nice guy. He saved a squirrel during a fight, didn't want to hurt the kaiju, and even felt bad when other actually hurt it. During a fight, he often looked at the citizens and said, "Are you guys okay?". This Superman is a real symbol of hope.
This movie made me thinking, what actually has happened to our society or to me very exact, what's wrong with being just a nice guy? You must have seen a guy talk on YouTube "don't be a nice guy!". This campaign brought the mindset that nice guy isn't nice. That nice guy, always end up last.
But this is not 100% true. At least this is what I believe. When I was a teenager, I was a nice guy. I followed every school rules, always did the homework and etc. I was the last person you might ever expected to get a girl out.
Growing up, I knew a lot of things, learned about a lot. Not all are good, some are even bad. Now I realize, I can say to you, being nice guy is all we need. And that is just enough. Just enough to be nice to other people. That's what we need. A real life Superman, a real life symbol of hope. A nice guy.
So, just because someone told you, don't be a nice guy, doesn't mean you can't be a nice guy. I think the point of all those "don't be a nice guy" only applied to a dating thing. You can't get a girl by pretending to be a nice guy. You have to be a real nice guy. That means, you being nice to everyone, not just her.
Don't stop being nice!
